NIT Rourkela announces the National Entrepreneurship Summit 2013

Entrepreneurship in colleges has truly caught some steam. With BITS Pilani’s Conquest going huge, other colleges are picking up. NIT Rourkela has come up with their annual flagship event for entrepreneurs formerly know as Virtantta and now NES 2013 that starts on March 22.It is a platform for interaction between student entrepreneurs, faculties and Industry Leaders. ED Cell of NIT-R believes that entrepreneurs are the creatures that have the guts and wit to change the way the rest of the world perceive at any instance. Anyone from a small owner of a food stall to the stalwart owner of Facebook; everyone has a unique factor which makes him stand apart from the crowd in their own different ways.
The theme of this event edition is “Crack the Shell”, i.e. to break all the mental shackles that can kill an entrepreneur before hatching. Its a Three day event ends on March 24 consists of various events and workshops for student entrepreneurs.

Under the “myCITI” campaign, NIT-R team will go to the cities in and around Orissa. Under this campaign, events will be organized in a reputed college in a city where the keynote speaker will be a local entrepreneur who can talk about the general entrepreneurial issues in that city.
