Here are the CitySparks of Kochi - Three of Kerala's most exciting startups!

The weather in Kochi may have been hot and humid, but the reason why participants at the inaugural edition of TechSparks 2013 were sweating was something else. They were thinking who will be crowned the TechSparks from God’s Own Country. Kochi is today home to some of the country’s most interesting startups. This entrepreneur friendly state has nurtured an ecosystem which is surprising everyone in the startup space and there are many promising startups that have already sprung from here. Taking note of this growing action, YourStory decided to include Kochi in its bouquet of cities to goto with TechSparks this year, and we were not disappointed.

Kochi was the first stop of the six-city round in this year’s TechSparks event. We are conducting regional round tables in six cities before we crown the final 30 at the Grand Finale in Bangalore, later this year. As a part of these regional round tables, we identify local entrepreneurs and give them a platform to pitch their startup’s offerings in front of an esteemed panel. And based on various parameters on which these startups are evaluated, they may very well go on to present at the TechSparks Grand Finale.
