Social entrepreneurship is a beautiful challenge that measures its profitability not only in terms of revenue, but in how effectively it helps its beneficiaries. The reward it immeasurable, but the risks are higher. For many aspirant social entrepreneurs, mentorship and other types of support have been fundamental. In this respect, the Network of Incubators in India has consolidated in the last year, enabling more support for those who want to start up in the field.
Villgro has recently opened the application for its Fellowship Program 2016, which will provide a year of mentorship and training. Participants will have the opportunity to develop projects with the advice of experts in different sectors, as well as strengthen and expand their networks. Creativity will be the keyword that will lead the project and the Fellowship will provide means to embody into the core structure of the participant’s ventures.
The focus will be on projects aimed at improving the living conditions of the lower strata of society, and the applicants are required to have worked for at least three years in operations, finance, sales, marketing, design, software development and business development.
