Meet 'Cattle Swamy', a canteen owner who has built water basins for animals to drink from

Nicknamed as ‘Cattle Swamy’, Swamy, the owner of Brundavan canteen near Hosangar, Karnataka, is providing water to all the cattle that flock to his canteen to quench their thirst. He has placed three big concrete basins in front of his canteen and fills them with water for the cattle.

In a report by The Times Of India, nearly 20 to 25 cattle quench their thirst from his tanks daily. People of the town have appreciated this noble cause and refer to him as ‘Cattle Sawmy’ affectionately. Swamy said that due to rise in temperature, many water sources have dried up, so he took up this noble cause as his primary duty along with is work.
