Meet YourStory's new Executive Editor

Every journey gets better when one has a partner who is aligned to your destination. After nine years, I am joined by a partner who will help me realise my vision of turning YourStory into a media powerhouse.

I am thrilled to announce that Ramya Venugopal has joined us as Executive Editor. Her experience in leading newsrooms as well as growing an online content product for a global technology powerhouse will help us scale faster and neatly execute some of our biggest venture bets.

Ramya is a journalist with 20 years of experience in business news and has worked with The Economic Times, Bloomberg and Thomson Reuters in India and abroad. She joined LinkedIn two years ago to set up its editorial operations in India and leaves them with a burgeoning base of member-authors as well as stalwart influencers such as Narendra Modi, Shashi Tharoor, Priyanka Chopra and, most recently, Sachin Tendulkar.

At YourStory, Ramya's focus will be on growing our audience and strengthening the original intent of YourStory, which is to focus on positivity, championing the underdog and building a positive narrative of young India.
