Monday June 05, 2017 , 5 min Read

App-based solutions are the new “it” thing for startups, and Indian entrepreneurs are matching their global counterparts when it comes to innovation and investments in the space. Today, a smartphone is di rigueur for just about everybody, and the applications loaded onto the phone are how startups, both young and old, are trying to make our lives easier and the world we live in better.

To recognise the contribution and achievements of startups working in the space, Amazon Internet Services Private Limited (AISPL), joined hands with Sequoia India, Facebook, and Intel for the AWS Mobility Awards 2017. The awards aimed at discovering the most innovative startups and enterprises that offer mobile-based solutions.

Bikram Singh Bedi (Head of Amazon Internet Services) takes centre stage
