Closet organisation tips

Start by segregating your clothes into two piles. The first pile should contain the clothes you wear and the second should contain the clothes you don't. Donate the second pile of clothes to someone needy. Next, further segregate the clothes you wear into season and off-season wear. If it's summer, put all your winter and rainy wear at the back of your closet. And finally, plan your outfit for the next day before you go to bed so as to save time on selection in the morning.

Grooming tips

Keep dry shampoo handy for when you're in a rush. If you're not a fan of dry shampoo, use shampoo and conditioner together to save time. Know what hairstyle and lip shade complement your features to avoid wasting too much time on finalising a look every morning. Start by getting a haircut that suits you so you don't waste too much time to set your hair every morning.

Office organisation tips

Take a hard look at your desk and drawer items and clear away clutter by discarding things you don't use or need. Delete unnecessary emails and folders on your computer to save space and make your desktop look cleaner. Don't strew items all over your desk. Establish different work zones to make life easier.

Lunch tips

Prepare three-to-four different kinds of foods and pack them into boxes and refrigerate those boxes to use throughout the week. Keep snacks like granola bars, cookies, and crackers in your desk so you always have something to nibble on when you feel a wave of hunger. Supplement your meals with fruits and dry fruits to help you stay energised throughout the day.

Productivity tips

Start your day at work by making a to-do list of all the tasks you need to complete during the day. Check your email and phone only at regular intervals to keep yourself from getting distracted. Before you leave office on Friday, prepare for the coming week by clearing your mailbox and setting an agenda for Monday. Take short breaks frequently to re-energise yourself.

You might not be able to implement sweeping life changes overnight, but you can start by concentrating on small and doable changes. Use the above mentioned five hacks to make your work life more manageable and enjoyable.
