CleanMax Solar raised $15 million funding from the International Finance Corporation. The company provides clean energy to companies and organisations through rooftop and grid-connected solar installations. The Walburg Pincus-backed company has the likes of TVS Group, Mindtree, and Tata Group as its clients.

2. RummyPassion raises $3.75 million funding

UK-based Stride Gaming invested $3.75 million for 51 percent stake in Passion Gamings' RummyPassion. The fund raising will help RummyPassion strengthen its technology, marketing and customer service teams.

3. Stanza Living raises funds from Matrix Partners, Accel Partners

Stanza Living, which focusses on student accommodation, raised pre-series A funding co-led by Matrix Partners and Accel Partners. The fund raising will help Stanza Living expand its operations across the country.

4. MobieFit raises $1.35 million funding

Gul Panag's m-fitness company MobieFit raised $1.35 million Pre-Series A funding. The funding was led by Dubai- based fund NB Ventures with co-investment from medical insurance facilitator MediAssist.

5. Smaaash raises $3.8 million funding

Sachin Tendulkar-backed sports entertainment company Smaaash raised $3.8 million in debt and equity funding. The company aims to expand its business with this fundraise. Smaaash owns and operates sports-centric digital entertainment centre for games such as cricket, football, gokarting and bowling.
