Krypto Labs, a well-known name on the global incubator and co-working space circuit, has a unique ecosystem for funding ground-breaking early stage startups. With DISC 2018, they aim to discover and nurture innovative ideas involving the usage of drones and UAVs for aerial photography, transportation and logistics, disaster management, search and rescue operations, terrestrial mapping, building management, law enforcement surveillance, and weather forecasting.
Once the application process is completed, the Krypto Labs team will shortlist five finalists and invite them to pitch to an expert jury at the finale that will take place at Abu Dhabi on May 6, 2018. A panel consisting of industry experts, prominent innovators, and business leaders will decide the winner.
DISC 2018 has plenty to offer startups in terms of mentorship and investment. The five finalists will get access to Krypto Labs’ incubator services and a round trip for up to two members from their home country to Abu Dhabi. They will also get an opportunity to network with experts from across the world, which will help increase their startup’s global visibility. The icing on the cake is an investment of up to $500,000 in the winning startup, along with exclusive mentorship and training from globally renowned entrepreneurial experts. This will enable them to get access to insights and information from mentors that they wouldn’t have access to otherwise.
