Swiggy confirms fund raise of $210 M; Clinivantage raises $1 M from Metaform Ventures

Swiggy has confirmed that it is raising $210 million in Series G funding led by existing investor Naspers and new investors DST Global and Coatue Management. Existing shareholder Meituan-Dianping also participated in this round of funding. With this fund raise, the total funding raised by Swiggy will be $465 million, making it one of the highest funded startups in the foodtech segment. Swiggy will be looking to ramp up its supply chain network and expand to new markets.

Healthtech startup Clinivantage Healthcare Technologies has announced that it has raised $1 million from US-based investor group Metaform Ventures. Clinivantage is an integrated digital platform that connects doctors, hospitals, caregivers, and service providers with the patient in real time. "The funds will be utilised for scale and expansion across the globe, product development, deployment of resources for implementation and for travel and administration," said Dinesh Samudra, CEO Clinivantage.

Fintech company Drip Capital said it has so far raised $20 million in funding through several tranches in two rounds. The California-based startup raised $15 million from Accel Partners, Sequoia India, and Wing VC in a Series A round, with participation from existing investors Y-Combinator and others, who had invested $5 million in the seed round. With this funding, the company aims to ramp up sales across India and is also looking to replicate this model in emerging markets.
