Hosted at Fira Barcelona during the annual Mobile World Congress, the event draws startups, investors, corporate accelerators, and government agencies for networking, knowledge-sharing, pitches, jobs and matchmaking.
This year, over 750 exhibitors pitched to 22,000 visitors. There were seven stages for workshops, panel discussions and hackathons, covering emerging technologies, business models, social innovation, and investor outlook. The event has come a long way from its launch in 2014, when it attracted around 2,000 attendees.
