Deeptech startup Maieutic Semiconductor raises $4.15M from Endiya Partners, Exfinity Venture Partners
The company plans to use the capital to scale its engineering team, accelerate product development, and says it is on an "aggressive hiring trajectory" to bring its platform to market.
Maieutic Semiconductor, a deeptech startup focused on analog integrated circuit (IC) design, has raised $4.15 million in a seed funding round co-led by Endiya Partners and Exfinity Venture Partners.
The company plans to use the capital to scale its engineering team, accelerate product development, and says it is on an "aggressive hiring trajectory" to bring its platform to market.
"Semiconductor design has remained largely untouched by modern productivity enhancements," said Gireesh Rajendran, Co-founder and CEO of Maieutic.
"At Maieutic, we’re combining decades of deep analog and semiconductor experience with cutting-edge AI techniques to create a copilot that reduces the design cycle from weeks to days, spots inconsistencies without expert intervention, and brings intelligence to every trade-off."
Analog chips, unlike their digital counterparts, process real-world signals such as temperature, sound, and voltage. They are essential in communications, automotive systems, and industrial electronics. The design of these chips is traditionally time-consuming, requiring deep domain knowledge.
“Analog workflows in particular have remained largely manual and dependent on domain expertise and time-intensive iteration,” said Sateesh Andra, Managing Partner at Endiya Partners. “Maieutic’s AI-first approach has the potential to change that.” Endiya was an early investor in Steradian.
Maieutic’s founding team holds over 70 patents collectively and has experience in bringing commercial semiconductor products to market that have cumulatively shipped over a billion units globally. Rajendran previously co-founded Steradian Semiconductors, a radar technology firm that was acquired in a strategic deal.
