Global travel-tech company PRISM (parent of OYO) has reshuffled leadership to accelerate its growth.
As part of the rejig, Ankit Tandon, currently CEO of OYO Vacation Homes, has been elevated to Chief Operating Officer, PRISM, and CEO, Europe. In his expanded role, Tandon will oversee business performance and operations across PRISM’s portfolio worldwide, including brands such as Belvilla, DanCenter, Sunday Hotels, and others. He will also lead operations in Europe, the UK, and the US, which includes G6 Hospitality (Motel 6 and Studio 6).
Tandon, an IIT Madras alumnus and former McKinsey consultant, has been with PRISM for over a decade. He will continue to oversee PRISM’s Vacation Homes business, including recently acquired brands such as CheckMyGuest (France) and MadeComfy (Australia).
Varun Jain, currently COO–India, has been elevated to COO–Asia (PRISM). His new mandate spans India and the SEAME region (Southeast Asia and the Middle East), while also overseeing Traum Ferienwohnungen, PRISM’s listings business in Germany. In India, Innov8 and Weddingz will now report to him. Jain will be supported by Pankhuri Sakhuja, who leads Innov8 and Traum, and Nitin Gupta, who heads SEAME.
Shreerang Godbole will continue as Chief Service Officer, overseeing customer experience, field and remote operations, and the integration of MadeComfy in Australia.
Meanwhile, Shirish Damani has been named COO, Europe Homes & Hotels, responsible for supply, revenue, and margins across Belvilla, DanCenter, CheckMyGuest, Studio Prestige, and HelpMyGuest, while continuing to lead global M&A.
The company also announced that Gautam Swaroop, who led PRISM International (US, UK, LatAm, Workspaces) and Traum Ferienwohnungen for the past five years, is stepping down to pursue technology-led ventures.
“Gautam has been a close partner over the last five years, and I am deeply grateful for his leadership in shaping OYO USA, G6, Traum, and our PropTech initiatives. I am equally excited to see Ankit, Varun, Shreerang, and Shirish take on expanded roles and help us accelerate global growth with sharper execution and a stronger focus on customers," Ritesh Agarwal, Founder & Group CEO of PRISM, said.
PRISM, the corporate parent of OYO, operates a portfolio of brands serving over 100 million customers across 35+ countries, spanning short stays, extended living, luxury escapes, co-working, and hospitality technology solutions.
