IPO-bound Wakefit is sharpening its focus on high-volume home categories such as curtains, tabletop décor and soft furnishings, positioning them as entry-level products that draw new shoppers into its ecosystem and build trust before they graduate to big-ticket furniture purchases.

Tiger Global reaffirms early bet on Meesho, takes 1.9% of anchor allotment
Tiger Global has taken 1.9% of the anchor allotment in Meesho’s upcoming initial public offering, reaffirming support for one of its earliest India bets as the ecommerce company heads to market this week. The New York–based investor first backed Meesho in 2019.
But the anchor round, typically a quiet prelude to Indian IPOs, has stirred discontent. A group of institutional investors has protested the sizeable allotment given to SBI Mutual Fund–managed schemes, according to Bloomberg and Economic Times reports. Some investors questioned whether the state-owned fund house received preferential treatment and raised concerns about transparency in the allocation process. AI-driven learning platform Yoodli raises $40M in Series B round led by WestBridge Capital
AI-powered learning platform Yoodli raised $40 million in a Series B round led by , with participation from Neotribe and Madrona.
Yoodli was founded in 2021 by Varun Puri and Esha Joshi, who wanted to make communication training more practical and accessible, instead of relying on classroom-style workshops or occasional coaching hours. The platform lets users rehearse scenarios such as customer calls, leadership discussions, interviews, and feedback conversations.
With this new funding, the startup has secured nearly $60 million in total funding. The Series B funding will accelerate Yoodli’s investment in AI coaching, analytics, and personalisation and help expand its reach across enterprise learning, GTM enablement, and professional development. Read more.
Newron raises Rs 40 Cr in pre-Series A round led by Axis Finance for global expansion
Bhubaneswar-based Newron raised Rs 40 crore in a pre-Series A round led by Axis Finance to support its planned global expansion in the K–12 school management sector.
The startup will use the funding to strengthen its international operational capabilities, build a cross-border compliance framework, and enhance its proprietary technology platform that supports centralised school administration.
Newron, founded in 2022, manages K–12 schools across several Indian cities through an operating model that integrates academics, boarding, sports programmes, student services and technology-driven administration. It said the international rollout will take place in phases, with market entry announcements to follow.
It operates six schools and 10 campuses across six cities, serving more than 11,000 students with a staff of over 1,500.
With $6M in Series A funding, Moonrider aims to drive India’s agricultural EV transition
Moonrider, an electric tractor company, raised $6 million in a Series A funding round led by pi Ventures. The round also saw participation from Singularity AMC and existing investors AdvantEdge Founders and Micelio.
Bengaluru-based Moonrider will use the newly raised funds to advance its vehicle engineering and battery technology and accelerate the development of its tractor lineup.
In parallel, the company is also preparing its 27HP, 50HP, and 75HP electric tractors for commercial launch. Moonrider is looking to begin deliveries by February next year to one set of customers, Co-founder and CEO Anoop Srikantaswamy told YourStory. Read more.

Mannjal raises Rs 17.5 Cr in seed round led by Arali Ventures and B Capital
Bengaluru-based unified lending platform Mannjal raised Rs 17.5 crore in seed funding led by Arali Ventures and B Capital, with participation from Sparrow Capital and Gemba Capital. The company said the funds will support product innovation and help expand its lender network.
Founded in 2023, Mannjal operates a full-stack lending platform designed to help financial institutions distribute impact-led and priority sector credit products. The company said its AI-ready infrastructure streamlines field operations, origination and decisioning to help institutions deliver credit more efficiently across borrower segments.
Mannjal, co-founded by Prashant Adurty (CEO), Aman Bhargava (CBO) and Harshit Lingamneni (CTO), said over the past 18 months its platform has facilitated the disbursement of close to Rs 1,000 crore in credit across unsecured business loans, loan against property and affordable housing finance, and has grown its network to more than 75 lenders.

Founded by Rushabh Sanghavi, ReplyAll positions itself as an all-day clothing brand focused on performance fabrics and functional design. The company is building apparel designed for versatility and everyday movement, with products engineered for India’s climate using breathable, thermoregulating, sweat-resistant and stretchable fabrics. It is debuting with a men’s clothing line that the company said blends material science, fabric engineering and design to create garments suited for work, travel, workouts and leisure.
The company said the fresh capital will support product innovation using advanced technical fabrics and adaptive design.

MS Dhoni-backed Superhealth launches Bengaluru hospital, targets 100 facilities
Superhealth launched its flagship hospital in Salapuria Towers in Koramangala, Bengaluru, marking the first facility in a planned 100-hospital network backed by Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s family office and Panthera Peak Capital.
The company said the Bengaluru hospital is the first of 10 planned in the city and offers outpatient and inpatient services across specialities, including cardiology, general surgery, and orthopaedics.
Superhealth said its facilities are built on an AI-driven, zero wait-time model supported by its proprietary SuperOS platform. The system automates diagnostics and clinical workflows and converts doctor voice notes into digital prescriptions in seven Indian languages.
Superhealth plans to launch 100 hospitals with 5,000 beds by 2030 and expects the network to create more than 50,000 healthcare jobs.
PhonePe's Indus Appstore partners with Motorola to expand distribution on smartphones in India
Indus Appstore has partnered with Motorola to make its Android app marketplace available on Motorola devices in India. The company said the partnership will widen distribution and offer Motorola users a personalised app discovery experience.
PhonePe's Indus Appstore positions itself as a homegrown alternative in the app ecosystem and offers its interface in 12 Indian languages and English. The platform features AI-powered voice search and video previews to help users explore apps before downloading.
The company said its policies are designed to support Indian developers by reducing dependence on a single distribution channel and offering tools for publishing, localisation and customer support.
