Gaming company JetSynthesys acquires EverMerge as it looks to expand globally
The gaming company plans to expand EverMerge’s reach into new growth regions, including India, as it accelerates its global expansion plan.
Digital entertainment and video gaming company JetSynthesys on Thursday acquired EverMerge, a globally popular merger game from Big Fish Games Inc. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Big Fish Games is a subsidiary of global entertainment and gaming content creation firm Aristocrat Leisure Ltd.
EverMerge has generated over $350 million of lifetime revenue since its launch five years ago and is positioned among the top 100 mobile-grossing video games of all time, the company said in a statement. Its key markets include the US and Western Europe, where it holds franchise potential amid strong daily active users and retention metrics.
This acquisition is in line with India-based JetSynthesys’ global expansion plan, and will help it build a video gaming ecosystem that spans genres, geographies, and communities.
JetSynthesys is planning to expand EverMerge’s reach into new growth regions, including India, by leveraging the firm’s expertise in community engagement, brand partnerships, and data-driven user acquisition to scale the title and growth opportunities, it said.
“At a time when India is recognising the potential of the orange economy, pioneered by JetSynthesys, this acquisition is an important milestone. EverMerge’s success across Western markets presents an incredible opportunity to expand its universe and introduce it to new audiences. We see tremendous potential in bridging global IPs with local insights, and our goal is to make EverMerge resonate with players across emerging markets like India through unique cultural storytelling, engagement, and technology-led innovation,” said Rajan Navani, Chairman and Managing Director of JetSynthesys.
