Iswarya Fertility Center raises Rs 350 Cr from OrbiMed Asia
Chennai-based Iswarya Fertility Center has secured Rs 350 crore in funding from global healthcare investor OrbiMed Asia to expand its fertility care network across India. Founded in 1986, Iswarya operates more than 85 centres across eight states. The fresh capital will be used to open new centres in existing and underserved markets, strengthen clinical infrastructure, invest in digital capabilities and expand its embryology talent pool.
The company said India's fertility rate has fallen below replacement levels while infertility cases continue to rise due to delayed parenthood, lifestyle changes and higher diagnosis rates. Despite growing demand, IVF treatment penetration remains among the lowest globally, highlighting significant opportunities to improve access to quality fertility care across the country.
Docstribe secures funding led by ABGD Ventures
AI-powered patient care platform Docstribe has raised a strategic funding round led by ABGD Ventures to accelerate its expansion in the United States and the United Arab Emirates.
The company offers a digital care coordination platform that helps healthcare providers engage, monitor and support patients throughout their treatment journey. Its technology enables providers to identify high-risk patients early and deliver timely interventions, improving clinical outcomes and patient experience while supporting revenue growth. Docstribe said the new investment will strengthen its international presence and help expand adoption of its AI-driven healthcare solutions.
The company aims to enable healthcare systems to shift from reactive treatment models to proactive, data-driven patient care through precision coordination and intelligent engagement.

PhonePe launches tax filing feature on its app
PhonePe has introduced a Tax Filing feature on its platform, allowing individuals, freelancers and small businesses to file Income Tax Returns (ITRs) and manage monthly GST compliance directly through the app. Developed in partnership with TaxBuddy, the service offers self-filing plans starting at Rs 24, expert-assisted tax filing for complex cases and monthly GST filing for merchants.

The integrated solution eliminates the need to visit external portals by providing end-to-end tax compliance services within the PhonePe ecosystem. Users will also receive expert support for tax optimisation and ongoing GST compliance. The move expands PhonePe's financial services offerings by combining tax management with its existing payments and digital financial utility platform.

Launched at the seventh edition of the company's SHIVIR commerce summit, Fastrr combines Shiprocket's pre-order commerce capabilities into a single AI-native platform.

Grahaa Space to launch nanosatellite on Skyroot mission
Bengaluru-based spacetech startup Grahaa Space is preparing to launch its experimental nanosatellite, SOLARAS, aboard Skyroot Aerospace's Vikram-1 mission from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota. Named SIDDHI, the mission aims to validate the company's stackable nanosatellite platform in Low Earth Orbit while testing key systems for future satellite programmes.

The mission will also carry VISWA-M, an academic research payload developed by VIT-AP University, Amaravati, demonstrating Grahaa Space's hosted payload architecture for research and educational applications. Arduino launches Edge AI Innovation Lab at IIT Delhi
Arduino has launched the Edge AI Invention Lab at the Student Innovation Lab (SIL) in the Department of Electrical Engineering at IIT Delhi, expanding its 'Physical AI for All' initiative in India. The lab will provide students with hands-on experience in building real-world Edge AI and Physical AI solutions through project-based learning, interdisciplinary research, hackathons, innovation challenges and industry collaborations. It will also support educator training, student workshops, digital learning and industry-aligned curricula aimed at bridging the gap between classroom education and practical applications.

IESA welcomes customs duty relief for electronics manufacturing
The India Electronics and Semiconductor Association (IESA) has welcomed the government's decision to rationalise customs duties on capital equipment and key inputs used in manufacturing lithium-ion battery cells, display assemblies and wireless charging modules.
The industry body said the move would reduce project costs, improve investment viability and strengthen India's electronics manufacturing ecosystem. According to IESA, the policy complements initiatives such as the Electronics Component Manufacturing Scheme (ECMS) and the Semicon India Programme, which aim to boost domestic value addition. The duty relief is expected to benefit sectors including electric vehicles, smartphones, laptops, telecom equipment, wearables, medical electronics, drones, renewable energy and battery energy storage systems while encouraging greater local production of display assemblies and wireless charging components.
