Arjun Rao

Arjun Rao, General Partner at Speciale Invest is a maven of the technology startup ecosystem in India, having spent 15 years in the industry and donning multiple hats. Prior to launching Speciale Invest with Vishesh Rajaram, he co-founded travel startup -Travelyaari. Here he led technology and product development, as well as business strategy. He also raised US$12 million via venture capital in multiple rounds of funding. Arjun has also co-founded an ed-tech startup SchoolHub, a SaaS solution for schools. He has also worked with internet giant Yahoo Inc! and travel company Goibibo. Arjun holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from National Institute of Technology, Karnataka and MBA degree from Indian School of Business.
