Ashit Kukian

Ashit Kukian is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Radio City, India’s leading radio network. In his present capacity, Ashit is responsible for leading effective teams, streamlining operations and strategy across the organization, with the objective of enhancing market share and driving sustainable growth. Ashit brings more than two decades of cross functional media, entertainment and management experience to the role to drive continuous business improvement and help exceed the revenue and profitability objectives. Being an industry veteran, his unique leadership qualities have been instrumental in driving innovation across the organizations he has worked for, resulting in aggressive growth targets being achieved efficiently. This is Ashit’s second stint with Radio City, having previously held the role of President and Chief Operating Officer that helped accelerate Radio City’s performance in the industry through traditional and non-traditional revenue streams. Earlier in his career, Ashit was the President – Revenue, Times Network, where he synergized with content, distribution, marketing and other enabling functions to ensure smooth running of the business. Here, he was part of the core team that launched Zoom and was also the driving force behind expanding leading brands of the group such as Femina and Filmfare. Ashit is a performance-oriented team leader and is truly committed to building and managing high caliber teams in complex environments. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Mumbai. Beyond his corporate life, Ashit takes keen interest in travelling and enjoys spending quality time with his family.
