Mrs. Ekta Jain is the Chief Marketing Officer of Octavius Tea. She is a persistent, calm, and action-oriented individual with sound knowledge in the field of marketing. Fair and transparent, Ekta aspires to achieve the overall growth and development of her employees and the organization as a whole. Ekta is a team builder and a catalyst with particular expertise in planning, developing, implementing, and monitoring the overall brand marketing strategy. With more than a decade of experience in the tea industry, she looks after analyzing the market, understanding customer requirements, making major corporate decisions, product launches, and managing the overall operations and resources of a company. She acts as the main point of contact between the board of directors and the marketing operations team.
Being married to a family with such extensive experience in the tea industry, Ekta was always fascinated by the tea industry, particularly the process of making tea. She believes that this is an art in itself. Visiting the tea plantations and tea factories and closely observing the skilled and passionate tea garden workers, she had a revelatory moment. This idea of reshaping the art of tea drinking in India culminated. Leveraging the brand’s century-old expertise and history of excellence in tea,Ekta strived to launch quality products in India. With this, the brand Octavius was born in 2016 with a mission to epitomize the art of drinking gourmet teas.
Having completed an Economics Honours Degree from Delhi University, Ekta is a tea lover herself. Hailing from Assam and getting married into a tea business family, tea has always been an integral part of her life. After her marriage, daily family discussions over tea were a usual part of her day-to-day life. Having heard, witnessed, and experienced tea so closely, Ekta developed a passion for tea like no other.
