Jameela Sahiba
Jameela Sahiba is a Senior Programme Manager leading the Emerging Technology and Artificial Intelligence vertical at The Dialogue, alongside spearheading the Parliamentary and Government outreach work for the organisation. She is a law graduate from Symbiosis Law School, Pune and prior to this, she served as the Chief of Staff for the Office of Dr Amar Patnaik, Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha) where she gained invaluable experience and insight into the intricate world of policy and legislation.
With over 4.5 years of experience in the policy ecosystem, Jameela combines her deep-rooted understanding of law and her passion for driving legislative change to make a significant impact at the intersection of technology and governance. Jameela’s dedication to addressing emerging technology challenges and her commitment to ensuring AI advancements benefit society are at the forefront of her work at The Dialogue. Her efforts drive forward the responsible and impactful integration of AI into our rapidly evolving technological landscape. She is also an avid reader and writer and has authored several thought-provoking op-eds on critical policy issues.
