Lamborghini claims that bookings for the Huracan Sterrato in India have crossed the double-digit mark.
has launched yet another model from the Huracan range in India. The Huracan lineup already consists models like the EVO, EVO Spyder and Tecnica besides multiple other variants. The Italian supercar brand has now brought the off-road-ready Huracan Sterrato to the country.
Priced at Rs 4.62 crore (ex-showroom), deliveries for the new Huracan Sterrato are slated to begin in the third quarter of 2023. The supercar, which made its global debut on November 30, 2022, is a limited edition model with only 1,499 units made available for all markets.

Like other models from the Huracan range, Lamborghini will also be offering plenty of customisation options under the Ad Personam program giving customers the chance to create their own personal Lamborghini, making it extra special and meeting any wish. These include customised colour schemes as well as a wide range of accessories.
A taller Huracan EVO?
The new Huracan Sterrato is essentially a jacked-up version of the standard Huracan EVO. However, the former receives plenty of visual cues that differentiate it from the standard model and lends itself a distinct appearance. The most obvious differentiator is a 44mm higher ground clearance that makes Sterrato look taller than the regular Huracan.
The beefed-up front bumper on the Sterrato houses a reinforced stone guard and a pair of auxiliary LED lamps. In fact, an aluminium front underbody protection along with a suspension setup with longer travel makes this new rally-spec Huracan well equipped to take on the rough and pothole-ridden Indian roads.
Side profile of Hurran Sterrato is dominated by chunky side skirts, bolt-on rugged fender flares as well as functional roof rails and a roof scoop. The rear end of the supercar gets a revised diffuser with a better departure angle. Adhering to its rally genes, the display model showcased at the launch event was wrapped in the iconic Lancia rally shade featuring a white paint scheme with green and red accents.
Updated Interiors
The cabin of Huracan Sterrato does not receive any major visual upgrades but gets a new Alcantara Verde upholstery along with new graphics for the touchscreen. It also benefits from electronic gimmicks such as a digital inclinometer with pitch and roll indicator, compass, geographic coordinate indicator and steering angle indicator that help its off-roading credentials.
Among other creature comforts, Sterrato is equipped with a connected telemetry system allowing the driver to monitor performance and analyse data via a mobile app. Other onboard electronics have been recalibrated as well.
Other upgrades
Apart from cosmetic or feature updates, Sterrato also receives functional upgrades over the standard Huracan. The most significant of those is an updated vehicle dynamic pack or LDVI (Lamborghini Integrated Vehicle Dynamics) that adds a new Rally mode to the package. Also, the pre-existing Strada and Sport modes have been recalibrated to suit Sterrato’s mannerisms.
Other than the raised ground clearance, Lamborghini has also widened the front and rear tracks in Sterrato by 30mm and 34mm, respectively. The sports car rolls on smaller 19-inch wheels shod with fatter, dual-purpose Bridgestone Dueler AT002 tyres measuring 235/40-R19 at the front and 285/40-R19 at the rear. It also gets a roof-mounted air intake, allowing the engine to breathe better over dusty tracks.
Low in performance
Powering Huracan Sterrato is the same 5.2-litre, naturally aspirated V10 engine that propels the standard Huracan. In Sterrato, this motor dishes out 610 hp at 8,000 rpm and 560 Nm of peak torque at 6,500 rpm, which is 30 hp and 40 Nm less than the regular model.
The engine is paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox sending power to all four wheels via an electronically controlled all-wheel-drive system and a rear mechanical self-locking differential. As for performance, Huracan Sterrato can sprint from 0 to 100 kmph in just 3.4 seconds and can clock a top speed of 260 kmph, making it a tad slower than its siblings.
