Airblack is an online makeup and beauty learning platform.
Founded in 2019 by Pulkit Pujara and Jaiswal, Airblack helps micro entrepreneurs and creators by giving them access to DIT (do-it-together) courses from curated experts. Curated experts present these courses live in a workshop format. The company started off by connecting travellers with other verified power travellers and influencers on a personal chat to exchange recommendations around their travel plans. It then pivoted to the beauty segment after the pandemic brought the travel and hospitality industry to a standstill. Since entering the beauty segment last year, over 25,000 learners have attended these courses across more than 500 cities. A majority of them are women who have since become freelancers, online creators or home-salon owners. Airblack clocks more than 45,000 hours of live classes every month which are supplemented by take-home assignments.
