Founded in 2014, AjnaLens is a startup that designs and manufactures AI-powered mixed-reality glasses for defence, education, and enterprise customers. Very recently the company released the AjnaTX Series whose features include AI-powered temperature detection, employee temperature mapping and analytics, emotions detection, age and gender detection among others. The company claims that the glasses can scan large groups of people and detect potential COVID-19 carriers “within seconds”. In March, 2020 the company raised $1.5 million in a Pre-Series-A funding round led by Maharashtra Defence and Aerospace Venture Fund (MDAVF) and HNI investors like Nailesh Khimji, Chirayu Khimji, Jay Jesrani, and Mohsin Group.
