Gurgaon based Bolo Indya is a vernacular short videos creation, discovery and discussions platform. The platform is on a mission to empower Indian users to connect over interest areas, express their views, experiences and knowledge and broadcast it to right audience in local language through short videos; enabling their videos to become discoverable and google-able, hence nurturing a strong community of vernacular internet users based on interest. Currently, it supports eight Indian languages viz. Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Bengali, Marathi, Malayalam and Gujarati. After having worked on the beta version for nine months, NITIE Mumbai alumnus Varun Saxena started the company in May 2019. Bolo Indya enables users to create and consume short videos of maximum duration of 70 seconds. The interest areas range across categories like life, relationships, career, motivation, finance, technology, sports etc.
