Basic Information
GUVI is an online regional-language based education technology company incubated at the Research Park in the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, with support from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. What started as a small initiative has since spawned a company. The “edu tech” platform has been associated with at least 1,000 colleges. Recently it started developing content in Arabic and Malay. It provides courses in the areas of Ai, Python, functional programming in JS, HTML and CSS, Codeigniter, RESTful APIs, ethical hacking, AWS CloudFormation to name a few. It has already upskilled more than 2.14 lakh engineers in latest technology skills such as Python, Java and Machine Learning, among others and helped them gain placement in IT firms. In April, it raised Rs 6 Crore in its Pre-series A round of funding from Education Catalyst Fund, an education-focused venture capital fund managed by CBA Capital.
