Hyper Horizon

HyperHorizon is an Indian defence deep-tech company focused on developing autonomous underwater systems and intelligent ocean technologies for national security and defence applications. The company aims to enable affordable, scalable, and mass-deployable autonomous systems rather than relying solely on a small number of expensive conventional platforms. Its primary focus is on underwater autonomous vehicles (AUVs), with its first platform, Neerakshi V2, described as an AI-powered, man-portable AUV. The system is intended to form the foundation of a broader family of unmanned underwater platforms capable of operating in demanding maritime environments. HyperHorizon combines artificial intelligence, robotics, autonomy, and underwater engineering to develop mission-critical systems for surveillance, reconnaissance, and other defence requirements. The company positions its technology around subsurface warfare and underwater intelligence, addressing India's need for scalable unmanned capabilities in the Indian Ocean region. Its approach emphasizes modular designs, rapid production, affordability, and autonomous operation, with the objective of deploying large numbers of intelligent unmanned systems. HyperHorizon also operates HyperHorizon Labs, an engineering and learning initiative focused on real-time robotics, autonomous systems, ROS2, embedded software, and mission-critical robotics engineering. The company is led by Vishaal M Kabilan (CEO & Founder) and Sibi M (CTO & Co-founder) and aims to strengthen India's indigenous autonomous defence and underwater technology ecosystem.
