Indigotex

IndigoTex is an IIT Delhi-incubated, patent-backed deep-tech textile company developing next-generation wool-based denim and sustainable textile-processing technologies. The company focuses on reinventing conventional denim through its proprietary IndiWool™ platform, which combines fine merino wool with indigo-dyeing technology to create thermoregulating, lightweight, durable, and biodegradable fabrics suitable for cold-climate and all-weather applications. Its patented indigo-on-wool process enables authentic indigo coloration without compromising wool fibre strength or mechanical properties. IndigoTex also develops ECOTEX™, a waterless and chemical-free finishing technology designed to make wool fabrics machine washable while eliminating conventional chlorine-based finishing processes. The technology is aimed at significantly reducing water, chemical, energy, and effluent requirements in textile manufacturing. The company's textile solutions target multiple applications, including fashion and apparel, premium home textiles, bags and accessories, industrial workwear, and defence-grade garments. Its IndiWool™ product range includes Functional, Naturals, and Heritage Premium variants with different wool compositions and performance characteristics. IndigoTex also works with brands and textile manufacturers on customized blend ratios, colours, fabric development, and pilot-to-bulk production. With R&D rooted in textile science and a focus on circularity and sustainable manufacturing, IndigoTex aims to commercialize high-performance natural-fibre textiles while reducing the environmental footprint of conventional textile processing.
