A BUSINESS THAT GREW UP WITH HIM In 2007, two friends, Mr. Manmohan Kaluram Bhutra and Mr. Amit Arora, turned a shared dream into a business of their own. That dream became Inthing Jeans. Six years later, in 2013, Mr. Akshat Bhutra joined the business with a vision to take it further — to build on what had been created and move into a new phase of growth. But the story had actually begun even earlier. In 2002, the foundation was laid in the world of fabric trading. As the market evolved and consumers began looking for something different, the business evolved with it — moving from fabric trading into garment manufacturing, with denim becoming a defining part of its journey. Then came the factories. Then the people. Then the growing demand. And with every step, the business grew stronger, more capable and more ambitious. Today, Inthing Jeans is a multi-facility manufacturing organisation with 2,000+ people employed directly and indirectly, and a production capability of 300,000+ garments every month.
