Jagatjit Industries is one of India’s oldest liquor companies.
Founded by the Late Mr LP Jaiswal in 1944 in the erstwhile state of Kapurthala, Jagatjit Industries is a liquor company. He got the business off to a start and expanded to several branches. In 1953, he set up bottle-manufacturing units for PepsiCo. In 1964, he setup a malt plant. In 1992, he set up a joint venture with Hiram Walker. Over the years, Jagatjit Industries came to be known for its Scotch, Whisky, Gin, Vodka, Rum, etc including its brands, Aristocrat Premium Whisky, AC Sek C Whisky and Binnie’s Whisky. In 2015, Roshini Sanah Jaiswal took over as promoter and chief restructuring officer, taking upon her shoulders a seventy-one-year-old legacy. Driving change, and keeping with JIL’s belief in embracing modernisation to keep abreast of changing times and trends, Ms Jaiswal has upgraded the company’s technology and automation capabilities to increase efficiencies, ensuring agility and dynamism in thought and deed.
