Nand Care Foundation works with the miners and tribal communities of Dhanbad to help in improving their socio-economic conditions.
Founded by Deepak Kumar, Nand Care Foundation is a non-profit organisation that has been working towards the betterment of the coal miners and tribal communities in and around Dhanbad for over five years now. They have been monumental in providing education to the children of coal miners and supporting these families over the years. During the pandemic, they distributed grocery kits among 10,000 families who were coal miners and from the tribal community. Their food distribution drive has had a tremendous impact on the community and they have been helping thousands of coal miners survive the second wave.
