Incubated at Deshpande Center for Social Entrepreneurship and founded by Mr. Sasi Sekar Krish on a mere concept of imaging technology to sort nuts and bolts for automotive clients, the idea of automated cashew sorter came up after noticing the amount of manual labour that goes into cashew sorting. With their patented imageIn technology, nanoPix delivers cutting-edge and rugged solutions for the grading industry. Their current products include nanoSorter range of machines designed to deliver multiple grading in single pass. The current range of nanoSorters is designed specifically to grade cashews and almond. nanoPix doesn't rely on expensive cameras for image processing and instead combinimg images from several low-cost cameras using software algorithms to create 3D models for product analysis.
