NUSHAURA is a social enterprise that works along with rural and tribal women across various remote villages in India, providing them livelihood opportunities and creating entrepreneurs for socio-economic development. Together these artisans create thoughtful, sustainable, healthy products like air-purifying aromatherapy candles, soaps, washable masks, sustainable crafts and hampers, in order to maintain the well-being of consumers and Mother Earth. NUSHAURA prides itself in onboarding 150+ artisans as shareholders of the organization. bringing efficiency, accountability and productivity across functions. The rapid growth of the organization through direct customer and business interactions has helped us generate sufficient income to pay for nutritious food, education, and healthcare for these artisans. Nushaura has been incubated by IIM - Ahmedabad's (CIIE) - Start-up Oasis, under by German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development and MoSDE, India.
