"New Delhi based Rivaayat is an initiative to revive the dying art form of Terracotta Pottery and improve the plight of potters. Rivaayat is an initiative by CDF-SRCC to uplift the artisans who toil to pursue their beautiful art form, thereby preserving our cultural heritage, putting their heart and soul on passing our country's legacy to the next generation. They have observed that - India, a land where diverse arts and cultures have evolved is witnessing a decline in the age-old art form of terracotta pottery. The exploitation of potters in the supply chain and their inability to be exposed to the changing demand poses a problem to the sustenance of this art. Hence, they aim to empower the potters by creating a direct market linkage and bring to you a wide variety of fine finished terracotta products, to help you re-live India's traditions. They aspire to create a community of crafts-persons that can lead to a change in society and bring back the fading art forms from oblivion. They believe that a sustainable solution can transform the crafts showcasing their skill to the world. They connect the artisans directly with the consumers, incorporating contemporary designs to create a perfect blend of modernity and tradition, providing them with a platform to showcase their skills.
