Sri Ramdas Food Works Pvt Ltd., the family and company that owns Sri Ramdas Food Works is located in Rathapuri, Hunsur (Mysore, Karnataka). The family-owned business is headed by Diwakar Ramdas, the Cheesemaker-in-Chief. The company was founded in 2012 for trading farm animals and gradually Diwakar converted his wine and cheese making hobby into a thriving business, that sells its cheese across 5 states in India. The facility is just 8 km from the Nagarhole forest and is nestled at the confluence of 3 large lakes just outside the village of Rathnapuri, the ancestral village of Diwakar Ramdas. It is located on a 46 acre farm, right on the highway from Hunsur to Madikeri. The 30,000 Sq. Ft. production facility has the capacity to produce 5 tons of cheese each day, with a highly sophisticated 50-ton capacity aging room, that simulates European conditions by temperature and humidity.
