StanPlus is a Hyderabad-based medical transportation startup.
StanPlus provides hospitals and enterprises with tech solutions that augment their existing medical response systems to respond faster, and offer patients better experience throughout the emergency value chain. Backed by a fleet of over 900 ambulances that work 24/7, guarantee medical transport within 15 minutes and are packed with top-of-the-line equipment and highly trained personnel, StanPlus aims to deliver round the clock medical transport support to anyone in need. The startup does not simply aggregate the available ambulances, but also standardises, trains drivers on CPR and first aid, quality checks the inside of the ambulances, among other things. It also provides a live tracking feature to the patients through SMS. In January 2018, the startup raised $1.1 million in seed funding in a round led by led by Kstart (Kalaari Capital’s seed fund), with participation from CM Diamant, a chain of medical centres and hospitals in Canada and Africa, and INSEAD Angels (Asia).
