Theobroma was co-founded by Kainaz Messman Harchandrai and Tina Messman Wykes. From their humble beginnings in 2004, when the first Theobroma pastry store opened its doors at the iconic Cusrow Baug at Colaba Causeway (Mumbai), the brand has grown to become a Pan-India chain of patisseries across Mumbai, Pune, Delhi NCR, Hyderabad and Bangalore. Their product offerings include brownies, breads, chocolates, croissants and danishes, pastries, sandwiches, wraps, rolls, beverages, biscuits, cookies and crackers, cakes, puffs and quiches, and tea cakes.
