Xbattery is an Indian energy-storage technology company focused on developing and manufacturing Battery Management Systems (BMS) for electric vehicles (EVs) and energy-storage systems (ESS). Based in Hyderabad, the company aims to strengthen India's domestic battery ecosystem through locally designed and manufactured battery electronics. Its flagship BharatBMS is a scalable, high-voltage BMS architecture designed to support battery systems from smaller applications to industrial and grid-scale energy storage, with configurations of up to 800V. Xbattery's BMS portfolio covers applications including e-rickshaws, light commercial vehicles, cars, SUVs, buses, trucks, UPS systems, telecom infrastructure, commercial and industrial energy storage, and megawatt-scale grid storage. The systems support different battery configurations and chemistries such as LFP and NMC, while providing functions including cell monitoring, balancing, thermal management, state-of-charge and state-of-health estimation, fault diagnostics, and safety protection. In addition to BMS technology, Xbattery has expanded into complete energy-storage solutions. Its XB-5K is a 5 kWh lithium-based residential energy-storage system with solar compatibility, app-based control, and modular capacity expansion. The company also provides APIs and software tools for battery monitoring, configuration, diagnostics, and lifecycle analytics. Through indigenous electronics design, manufacturing, software, and battery-management expertise, Xbattery aims to enable safer, smarter, and more scalable EV and energy-storage systems while reducing dependence on imported battery-management technology.
