Women in tech hackathon Chhalaang 4.0 announces winners
Organised by MetaMorph, Chhalaang 4.0 saw over 17,500 registrations and 350 finalists from all over India.
The recently concluded Chhalaang 4.0, India’s largest women-only hackathon to empower and recognise women in technology, saw three teams emerge as winners.
While team PairCoders (Aishwarya Suresh, Ananya J, Kavisha Mathur, and Samyuktha M S) won the hackathon, team Valkyries (Prachi Sukhija, Surbhi Jain, and Rishika Jassal) came in as 1st runners-up, and team Zero to One (Nayana K Murthy and Vasavi Agarwal) was the 2nd runners-up.
Organised by MetaMorph at BHIVE, Bengaluru, the event saw over 17,500 registrations and 350 finalists from all over India. Chhalaang 4.0 brought real-world problem statements in compliance, insurtech, logistech and healthtech, challenging participants to reimagine large-scale solutions.

Over 65 finalist teams spent 12 hours coding, collaborating, and pitching to industry leaders.
The event also highlighted unique achievements through special awards: Archishiya Kapoor (Youngest Participant), Ranjitha Vallaboja and Anusha Jain (Fastest Coders), and Arti Kumari (Travelled the Farthest).
"By putting women technologists at the forefront, Chhalaang is rewriting what leadership in tech can look like,” said Sanam Rawal and Swati Gupta, Founding Partner and Associate Partner, MetaMorph.
“Watching young women push boundaries and solve real-world challenges with creativity and resilience has been inspiring. Chhalaang is more than a competition—it’s a movement,” said Arpit Agarwal, Investment Partner, Blume Ventures, and jury member.
Other jury members included Rupesh Kumar (WeWork India), Kaushik Mukherjee (Super.money), Vivek Gupta (Vertex), and Mitali Sodhi (Verse Innovation).
The participants received mentorship from senior engineering leaders, including Saurabh Mehta (Ex-Bureau), Sami Alam (EffiHr), Gayatri Balakrishnan (Visa), Ankit Goel (Grab), Prasad Ravella (Nightfall AI), Nikunj (Salesforce), and Onkar (Flash.co).
Chhalaang 4.0 was supported by a robust ecosystem of partners, including BHIVE, Sprinto (brand sponsor), Acko (co-sponsor), Porter, Tricog, Base, Purplle, Plix, Plush, Sirona, Intrcity, Wendy’s, and Pressman’s, adding unique touches to the experience.
