SheSparks at TechSparks—igniting conversations, connections, and confidence
The SheSparks booth at TechSparks 2025 saw women network, share ideas, and participate in interesting micro master classes that inspired them to dream big.
At TechSparks 2025, India’s most influential startup-tech conference, SheSparks, YourStory’s flagship event for women, stood out at a special booth that attracted a large number of women over three days.
There was something for every woman—those who wanted to make their mark in the workforce, grow their careers in the right direction, ace the sales and marketing game, or the right funding advice for women entrepreneurs.

Women at the SheSparks booth
The booth features micro master classes by experts in diverse domains, exciting contests and giveaways and no-holds barred conversations with YourStory editors. The booth showed solidarity in sisterhood as women stopped by just to network, start interesting conversations, and share ideas.
On Day 1, Lathika Pai, Founder, SonderConnect, brought in her years of experience to the SheSparks booth with the first micro masterclass on Bootstrapped Vs Funded.
She offered practical insights on navigating the startup journey and how funding choices impact control, growth, and long-term vision.
This was followed by a session on The Product Mindset for Women Founders by Vaishnavi Devi, Product Director, Swiggy, who took women through the fundamentals of building products that truly solve user problems, sharing sights from her own journey, emphasising how women founders can blend intuition with analytical thinking to create scalable, user-centric products.
On the second day, Jayati Singh, Global Head, Marketing, Tally Solutions, conducted a micro masterclass on Fundamentals of Marketing for Startup Growth while Priya Narasimhan, Chief Business Officer, PhonePe, led a powerful micro masterclass on “Building 0–1 Businesses from Within: Intrapreneurship with Impact!” throwing light on identifying opportunities, driving innovation, and creating measurable social and business impact from the ground up.
The final day continued to be powerpacked as the other two days. The sessions began with Taruna Manchanda, Principal Product Manager at Microsoft sharing her journey in product management from Swiggy to LinkedIn and Microsoft.
Sangeeta Bavi, COO at YourStory, and Rohini Srivathsa, Former CTO, Microsoft, also dropped to meet the participants at the booth and share insights from their journeys.
The masterclass on "Building Marketing Muscle from Day Zero" by Tanvi Dubey, Head of Marketing at Chiratae Ventures, provided aspiring and early-stage women founders a roadmap to create a strong brand identity from the very start. By leveraging storytelling, community, and communication, participants learned how to build credibility, attract customers, and stand out in competitive markets.
Chitra Singh, Founder of Saleswomentoring, spoke about what it means to sell like a woman, leading with empathy and focusing on trust.
The day ended with a one-on-one speed mentorship session with VC, Shachi Jalote of Shastra VC where women founders received personalised guidance on refining their business models, pitching effectively, and navigating the fundraising landscape with confidence.
The three days also saw women participate in contests with gusto and take home some interesting prizes.
In the end, the SheSparks booth ignited conversations, connections, and confidence among women founders. It served as a space for learning, mentorship, and collaboration—where ideas took shape, and stories were shared, and every woman walked away inspired.
