1 Insomnia


Although not all cases of insomnia are caused by stress , there is a link between stress and insomnia. If you've suffered from insomnia all your life, episodes are probably nothing to do with stress, but if you notice that you have more trouble sleeping during tense periods, the two things may be related.


2. You are always sick


Stress weakens your immune system , which means the body becomes more vulnerable to the flu, colds and other viruses that circulate around. If that cold, which should disappear within a few days, lasts for weeks, it can be a sign of stress.


3. Extreme fatigue


Even after a night's sleep of 8 or 10 hours, you still feel chronically lethargic and exhausted . Worry and stress are cited as two common reasons why people feel physically exhausted and in cases of extreme stress comes the feeling of overload.


4. Constant muscle pain or tension


If you find yourself saying, "I need a massage" every day can be a sign that stress levels are too high. Stress affects the levels of adrenaline in the body, which has a direct effect on your muscles and nerves . There are also other factors at play. When we are stressed we stop exercising or sleep poorly, for example. These factors contribute to the onset of muscle pain.


5. Constant headaches


As if all these symptoms were not enough, stress can cause headaches . The episodes can last from 30 minutes to days and are characterized by a pain or pressure in the forehead or the back of the head. Although not typically severe, pain is another sign that your body is experiencing high stress. Do not leave these headaches untreated, because in addition to daily stress can lead to chronic tension headaches.
