To solve the problem, Latika Wadhwa started a Facebook group Mompreneur Circle dedicated only to mothers and married women who want to come back in the workforce or want to start a business of their own.

What’s the Story Behind Mompreneur Circle?

Latika saw a lot of her friends and her own mother taking a break from a prosperous career post marriage or motherhood. These things were always there in her mind and once she got married the same thought keep lurking in her mind that soon she also might to take a break from her excelling career. As she believes in finding solutions to problems rather than cribbing she started a community of married women and mothers on 20th January 2017 to help them make a comeback and to offer a supportive ecosystem of womenfolk who can together build successful career growth.

According to Latika, the group is a gift to all the mothers and married women across the globe who have sacrificed their aspirations and dreams of a successful career behind after becoming mothers.

What does the Group do to help the mothers and married women?

Currently being a community of more than 1,00,000 verified mothers and married women across the globe, the group is a platform for those womenfolk who are looking for a support system to grow their career and ventures. From discussions on  issues faced by mothers in starting a business or their career ranging from issues related to opportunities, skill development, family support etc are solved with the help of industry experts and are invited on time to time basis under Facebook Live Sessions. Mompreneurs across the country are able to showcase their products and services, connect with each other to outgrow their business networks. Through 20 cities Whats App groups it is already connecting members at local level to grow networks, collaborate together and enhance the business opportunities.

Through Mompreneur Circle, a strong Community of mothers and married women is building that will help all these mothers to connect and can inspire, motivate and bring opportunities for each other.

Recently the community has bagged awards like Women of Future 2017, Social Achievers Awards and also got nominated for ICICI Advantage Women Awards 2018.

On the occasion of International Women's Day 2018 the community is organizing Lady Boss Awards to felicitate mompreneurs and women entrepreneurs across the country on 5th March in Gurgaon.
