He has written and spoken extensively about cellular therapy. Dr Mahajan believes that we need parallel thinking where conventional sciences have failed. He says that cell technologies are going to reduce cost, to one tenth of the conventional medicine. He says it’s important to scale the production of the living cells, because the disease ratio is high and we require billions of these molecules. So scalability and cost reduction is very important.
Dr Mahajan says that once scalability is achieved, costs will reduce and treatments for devastating conditions will reach the common man. He advocates for a sensing science, which works with the micro environment, because it is a living breathing entity so they sense what is going on, repair, and regenerate.
