BJP manifesto 2019: Accident insurance of Rs 10 lakh to all the traders registered under GST
The manifesto or the 'Sankalp Patra' of the party in its focus on the MSME sector promises to establish 'National Traders Welfare Board' for Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs).
With just three days left for Lok Sabha Elections 2019, the Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) today released its manifesto in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The manifesto is crafted on the theme of a 'Sankalpit Bharat - Shashakt Bharat'. Top BJP leaders, including party president Amit Shah, Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj, Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh, and Finance Minister Arun Jaitley were present at the event.
The manifesto or the 'Sankalp Patra' of the party aims to fulfil the aspirations of 130 crore Indians. Focussing on the MSMEs, the manifesto promises to establish 'National Traders Welfare Board' for Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs).
To protect the interests of small traders, BJP promised to provide an accident insurance of Rs 10 lakh to all the traders registered under GST. According to the party, National Policy for Retail Trade will also be formed for the growth of retail businesses.
The manifesto also promises pension for small traders.
To boost the employment generation in the northeastern state, BJP promised to set-up a new 'Entrepreneurial Northeast' scheme to provide financial support to the MSMEs of the state.
The General Elections 2019 is scheduled to be held in seven stages from April 11 to May 19.
Last week, Congress President Rahul Gandhi also released the party's manifesto promising to work closely with the RBI, resume credit lending, and ensure sufficient liquidity and cash in circulation for MSMEs.
