Founded in 2012 in Delhi, Urja Packaging has placed itself ahead of most paper bag manufacturers by being savvy with using digital marketing. According to founder Sushant Gaur, the local market searches for paper bags using nomenclature like paper lifafa and not brown paper bags as others assume. They thus marketed themselves as such and were able to stay ahead of the curve with marquee clients like IRCTC, Big Basket, Apollo Hospitals, Fortis Hospitals, and Swiggy among others.
