As per reports, Samsung participated in funding rounds for 13 companies, including Adam Neuman's Flowcarbon, Bored Ape Yacht Club creator Yuga Labs, blockchain gaming firm Animoca Brands, and Axie Infinity owner Sky Mavis. The total size of funding for the 13 companies aggregated to $979.26 million.

Earlier Cointelegraph and other media reports claimed that Google's parent company Alphabet had invested $1.5 billion in four blockchain firms between September 2021 and June 2022. However, it was later discovered that Alphabet had only invested a small fraction of the $1.5 billion.
Despite the market crash, the blockchain sector has drawn the interest of many investors and large corporations. According to Blockdata reports, 40 corporations have invested approximately $6 billion in blockchain startups between September 2021 and June 2022.
Previously, other corporate firms such as Barclays, JPMorgan Chase, Goldman Sachs, and Morgan Stanley had invested in the blockchain sector. On August 11, asset manager BlackRock introduced a new private spot Bitcoin trust. It has invested $1.17 billion in blockchain companies.
