The story of the exile of Lord Rama, his wife Sita, and brother Lakshman is indeed omnipresent in every aspect of our culture, religious affiliations notwithstanding.

One cannot forget the hysteria attached to the 1980s televised version of the epic on Doordarshan, nor the glory of its post-pandemic revival in 2020, despite releasing in a world where social media reigns supreme.

Aware of the story’s universal appeal, discovery+ joined hands with Wide Angle Films and bestselling author, diplomat and TV anchor Amish Tripathi for a three-part docuseries called ‘The Legend of Ramayana with Amish’, which explores this age-old tale from an entirely new perspective.

The Intimacy Curator

The spectrum of relationship coaching is no longer limited to sorting issues in failing marriages. It must also address the needs of a large number of young professionals who find themselves single and lonely in their 30s and 40s, after a string of unsuccessful relationships.

Mumbai-based Aili Seghetti is an intimacy coach and Founder of The Intimacy Curator, an organisation that promotes self-discovery through emotional and sexual wellbeing.

Aili offers unique coaching services and addresses a variety of problems within modern relationships.

Stress is spoken about plenty, but stress reduction is not prioritised on a daily basis. Have you seen articles on the damaging effects of stress and simply scrolled by? Are you someone who knows how damaging stress is, but do not include practices in your daily life?

Well, then you are the one who needs to read this. My mantra to all my clients is that stress-reducing practices should never be an SOS situation. They should be incorporated into our daily life so that they can help build resilience overall. That way, when there are situations of high stress, and we all will face them again and again, you have the resources to face the stressors, not allow long term impact, and get back on even keel quickly.

Oui Oui

Parents of little children who grew up in the 80s and 90s in India are familiar with the woes of shopping for nice clothes for their kids. The dearth of occasion wear led many families to stitch clothes themselves inspired by what they saw in movies and TV shows, while others relied on gifts from family members who lived abroad.

Fortunately, things have changed now and we have access to beautiful homegrown kidswear labels. One of the prominent brands is Mumbai-based Oui Oui helmed by Poonam S Sanghvi, Raina Shriwaardankar, and Viinii K Doshi, which began in 2018. The brand is favoured by celebrity mothers like Kareena Kapoor Khan, Soha Ali Khan, Neha Dhupia, Lisa Ray, and others.
