Owing to their personality, content, and ability to innovate and adapt to evolving trends amidst the surging wave of online content creators, there are some who manage to shine brighter than others.

With three million subscribers on YouTube and over 670K followers on Instagram, Anisha Dixit is one such content creator who has been consistently making comedy content from everyday life experiences.

In addition to collaborating with top B-town celebrities like Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Tiger Shroff, and John Abraham, she has also met former US President Barack Obama in person, and describes it as one of the most memorable moments in her life.

Speaking about the content she creates, Anisha shares that she has been in the content creation space for close to 10 years now, and in all this time, she has realised that content creation is highly reliant on observation.

“The thought process is very simple - if it’s relatable, it’s content,” she says. She adds that with time, her content has evolved from being 10 minute videos to as short as 15 second videos.

In terms of planning and scheduling the content, Anisha explains that as a creator, she does have a basic plan for her content, but in today’s day and age, it’s all about adapting to trends and relevant topics. Flexibility and agility, according to her, are important weapons that come in handy while fighting the content war.

She adds that relatability is the key to her content. A huge number of people relate to her content and therefore, keep coming back to her channel/page, which has helped her in building a large and loyal community of followers. Anisha also mentions that in course of time, a creator builds a friendship with their audience, which binds them together.

Speaking about future roadmaps, Anisha says that over the years, content has evolved greatly. At present, short-form content revolution is taking the world by storm. “For us, the challenge has been to take the same joke, which takes 10 minutes to create, and fit it into a short span of time,” she says.

It is the era of fast-paced content and the attention span of audience is decreasing day by day, she adds. She used to make videos four times a month and now she does it every single day.

“The good thing is that I have been in the content space for years, and thus, I have my community, but it is all about being quick and fast,” she says.
