The movie, To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before, is a humorous take on love, and is a must watch for teenagers and young adults.
It tells the story of sixteen-year-old Lara Jean Covey an introvert who expresses her desire and need for love in a personal diary. She has written letters to five different individuals she has had a crush on while growing up, and hidden them away in her room in a secret box.
Her most recent letter is addressed to her childhood friend Josh who also happens to be dating her elder sister.
Lara, who is played by Vietnamese American actress, Lana Condor, lives with her father, and two sisters.
When her elder sister Margot goes off to college, Lara becomes the primary caretaker of her younger sister Kitty.
One day Kitty steals the letters from Lara Jean’s room and posts them to all Lara’s past crushes. Soon, Lara is confronted by each one of them the same week in different ways.
While she finds out that one of her past crushes is gay, and another one just considers her a really good friend, she is surprised to learn that the one person she never thought attainable is the one who secretly likes her the most.
Based on the New York Times bestselling book by American author Jenny Han, the film is directed by Susan Johnson.
The Kissing Booth
The Kissing Booth is a film you can watch over and over again. It brings back nostalgic feelings of young adolescent crushes.
The movie stars actress Joey King, as Elle, a strong-willed girl with her head on her shoulders, who falls in love with her childhood friend’s older brother, Noah (played by Jacob Elordi).
It all starts when Elle organises a kissing booth along with her best friend Lee, for the schools fall fundraiser. Little does she know that the person she ends up kissing blindfolded is Lee’s older brother.
Consumed by emotions after her first kiss, Elle tries to make sense of this, while Noah is pretty protective and understanding.
This is a stark difference from the bad boy image he portrays in public. Noah soon finds himself falling in love with Elle.
Eventually Lee finds out about their romance, and is extremely distraught. Does Elle choose her best friend or his older brother?

Isn’t it Romantic
Isn’t it Romantic, is a movie that will leave you in splits. Directed by Todd Strauss-Schulson, the film is about Natalie who finds herself in a world where everything is like a romantic comedy.
Natalie is an architect by profession and has never believed in love. She feels she is incapable of ever attaining it.
One day after a failed mugging attempt, Natalie is knocked unconscious. When she wakes up her entire world is turned into a romantic saga.
She becomes everything her previous self was not. She has many boys vying for her attention and she is now spoiled for choice.
In order to leave this fantasy world, she realises the only way she can do so is if she actually falls in love, and starts believing in the concept of romance and relationships in general.
Does she manage to escape this world? Or is she trapped here forever?
The movie, which did very well in the box office, has Liam Hemsworth, Priyanka Chopra, and Adam DeVine in supporting roles. Don’t miss it.
Falling INN love
The movie, Falling INN Love, is directed by Robert Kumble and stars Christina Milan, and Adam Demos, in lead roles.
Designer Gabriella has just gone through a terrible break up, and while browsing through various pages on the Internet she comes across a ‘Win an Inn’ contest.
She decides to click on the link, and just when her life seems to be falling apart and her business is going through an all-time low, she wins the contest!
She becomes the proud owner of the Bellbird Valley Farm on the New Zealand countryside. She decides to visit the inn.
Upon arriving at the property, she finds that it is in complete shackles, and it is nothing like the beautiful picture depicted on the website.
She decides to renovate the inn, and use her design acumen to create a masterpiece. She contacts the town’s local restoration expert, Jake, and their relationship initially starts off on the wrong foot.
A lot of people try to tear Gabriella’s plans down, and view her as the privileged American outsider. While Gabriella and Jake continue to work towards restoring the inn, their friendship and romance start to grow, her old boyfriend shows up to take Gabriella back to the United States.
Does Gabriella rekindle her romance with Dean and go back home after the restoration in the countryside is over? Or does she stay on, and embark on a new romance? This is something you need to find out.
