NephroPlus enters into a joint venture with Tibbiyah
Hyderabad-based NephroPlus, founded in 2009, operates over 330 dialysis clinics in India, Nepal, the Philippines, and Uzbekistan.
Saudi Arabia-based Tibbiyah (Arabian International Healthcare Holding Company) to strengthen its position as a dialysis network in Asia.
, the Hyderabad-based dialysis clinic network, has announced a 51:49 joint venture withThrough this agreement, NephroPlus will be responsible for the network's dialysis operations. It will also provide its brand, latest clinical protocols, proprietary training programmes, and proprietary Babylon software to the joint venture to improve dialysis care in Saudi Arabia.
“We are delighted to announce this signing of the Tibbiyah-NephroPlus joint venture agreement for the investment, operations, management, and maintenance of dialysis care centres for public and private customers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia," said Tibbiyah’s CEO Alaa Ameen.
He added, "This partnership combines the expertise of NephroPlus and Tibbiyah and will enable Tibbiyah to enter another attractive healthcare market segment that has strong fundamentals, is conducive to growth, and strengthens our position as one of the main players in the kingdom’s healthcare sector."

NephroPlus, founded in 2009, operates over 330 clinics in India, Nepal, the Philippines, and Uzbekistan. The company treats more than 24,000 patients per month and has performed 100 lakh treatments to date.
The company aims to provide dialysis services to 4,000-5,000 patients in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia over the next two to three years as part of its overseas expansion strategy. The KSA market has about 22,000 patients, and Nephroplus and Tibbiyah are committed to working with the government to provide quality dialysis services.
