[PhotoSparks] SURGE 2016, Bangalore: meet the startups from around the world

Web Summit, the internationally influential tech and startup event, launched its presence in Bangalore this week with the SURGE conference and exhibition. “Bangalore is a significant part of the global startup ecosystem and we think it is the ideal venue for SURGE 2016,” says Paddy Cosgrave, CEO of Web Summit.
SURGE reportedly attracted over 5,000 attendees from 72 countries, and featured a two-day track of panel discussions and a startup showcase area. Ather Energy unveiled its first ‘Made in India’ smart electric scooter at the event.
